Dr. Okoro underscored the importance of continuous self-improvement in maintaining positive mental health. She highlighted the impact of rising inflation and economic pressures as major stressors and advised staff to cultivate emotional intelligence and effective emotional regulation.

She further explained that building mental resilience enables individuals to adapt to adversity, while practices such as mindfulness and regular physical activity provide practical coping mechanisms for stress management.

The second presentation, titled “Retirement Planning and Wealth Creation,” was delivered by representatives of Cordros Capital, an investment and financial advisory firm. The session emphasised the importance of early planning and prudent investment in ensuring financial security, with particular attention to opportunities within the capital market.
