– KANAYO

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has revealed a record-setting milestone in his acting career that had previously gone unnoticed.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Kanayo 0. Kanayo revealed that he was the first actor in the Nigerian movie industry to be hired as a performer for a helicopter scene in a movie.

The actor, who is known for playing the role of a ritualist in movies, disclosed that there was no insurance coverage for him during the helicopter scenes, stressing that any misfortune would have led to death.

He expressed gratitude to God while acknowledging that taking such risks in his role was done to entertain his fans and showcase the progress of the Nigerian film industry.

Kanayo wrote, “God has been faithful to me in the industry. First Nigerian Actor to be hired as a performer to fly in a helicopter in a movie. #KOKisOK #OCHIAGHA IGBO NINE.

“Nollywood has really come a long way. No insurance oooo, any kpam for helicopter, man don waka. The many risks we took to entertain you. Kudos to Amaco Group.”

It will be recalled that Kanayo O. Kanayo had also dispelled misconceptions about his involvement in rituals due to his roles in movies centered on blood money.
