The rift between Tiwa Savage and her former confidant, Davido, has manifested in their recent Instagram actions, with both artists opting to unfollow each other. This digital fallout escalated further as Tiwa Savage initiated legal proceedings against Davido, accusing him of orchestrating threats against her with a group of individuals.
Adding fuel to the fire, an online revelation showcased a heated exchange in an Instagram chat between Tiwa Savage and Davido, with the ongoing drama allegedly stemming from Tiwa’s association with the singer’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Contrastingly, a heartening video from the past has surfaced, depicting a moment of unity between Tiwa Savage and Davido. The footage, captured during the “A Decade of Davido” event held in December 2021, showcased Tiwa Savage’s performance on stage. In a surprising revelation, Tiwa disclosed that upon her return to Nigeria from the UK, she shared an apartment with Davido in 1004, Victoria Island, and Lagos.
Expressing pride in Davido’s journey, Tiwa Savage extended hugs to him on stage, fostering a sense of camaraderie and appreciation despite the current turbulence in their relationship.
In her words; “I don’t think lots of people know this but when I moved back to Nigeria, I was actually sharing an apartment with David in 1004. Ed don tey. I am so proud of you.”
