WHY MUSICIANS PATRONIZE DEVIL, ENENCHE

Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, has shed light on the reason many secular musicians turn to the devil for fame and musical prowess in a sermon titled “The Focus of Our Praise” during the June 2024 Anointing Service.

Drawing from biblical references, Pastor Enenche explained the origins of music and its divine purpose.

“There was an angel called Lucifer, the archangel that covereth, the covering cherub. The Bible said the workmanship of pipes and tabrets were in his body the day he was created,” he stated, referencing Ezekiel 28:14.

Lucifer, he explained, was endowed with musical instruments within his being.

“Musical instruments were wired inside him, tabrets and pipes. When he flung his wing, it was music,” Pastor Enenche elaborated. However, Lucifer’s pride in his beauty and brilliance led to his fall from grace, as described in Ezekiel 28:12-15.

Pastor Enenche pointed out that this fall is the reason behind the allure of the devil for many unbelieving musicians. “That is why unbeliever musicians today want to go to the devil to become popular and to become more musical,” he explained.

He further mentioned that after Lucifer’s fall, God created man to replace him, sparking the devil’s hatred towards humanity.

“God said, ‘Let me create his replacement. Let me make man.’ That is why the devil hates man with passion. Because he thinks you came to take his place,” Pastor Enenche stated. He emphasized that humanity’s primary purpose is to worship and praise God, a role Lucifer once held.

Pastor Enenche urged the congregation to recognize their divine purpose. “Beloved brothers and sisters, this is the most fundamental thing you must know: God created you, God created me to fulfill the purpose of worship and the purpose of praising Him,” he concluded.
