MY MOTHER INFLUENCED MY RELIGION, JIDE KOSOKO

Veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, professionally known as Jide Babs, has revealed how his parents marital issues affected his choice of religion.

In a recent interview, he made it known that his parents had marital issues and he had to go with his mother.

In his words, he said: “When my mom and dad had issues, I followed my mum that’s why I became a Christian.

My mother did not want me to become an actor but later agreed and told me I must attend church programmes regularly.

My father was a Muslim, but since I followed my mother’s religion, I was named Joshua and I hold a very high position in my church.”
