VETERAN ACTOR, FRANCE, DIES

Renowned Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away at the age of 80.

The cause of his death is unknown as at the time of filing this report.

Femi Ogedengbe, a filmmaker, announced France’s passing on his social media page, sharing fond memories of their time working together.

Femi Ogedengbe recalled taking France to Tanzania in 2006 and collaborating on several films, including “Cross My Sin,” “She is My Sister,” and “The Director.”

Born in Ghana, France was respected for his kindness and humility. He had a passion project titled “Ghana Must Go,” which was close to his heart.

France’s extensive career in Nollywood spanned numerous films, earning him a reputation as a talented and lively personality. His passing will be deeply felt by filmmakers, fellow actors, and journalist friends who will miss his jokes and warm presence.
