TAYLOR OVERTAKES RIHANNA AS WEALTHIEST MUSICIAN

Taylor Swift has overtaken Rihanna to become the wealthiest female musician globally, according to Forbes magazine. Swift’s net worth is now estimated at $1.6 billion, placing her at #2,117 on the Forbes list of the world’s billionaires.

Swift’s financial rise comes largely from her record-breaking global Eras Tour and the value of her extensive music catalog.

Forbes reports that her assets include $600 million in earnings from touring and royalties, $600 million from her catalog, and $125 million in real estate holdings.

She is the first musician to make the billionaire list primarily through her music and live performances, according to the financial magazine.

This achievement positions Swift ahead of notable icons such as Madonna ($850 million), Beyoncé ($760 million), and Celine Dion ($550 million).

Rihanna, now ranked #2,336 on the list, has an estimated fortune of $1.4 billion, mostly derived from her successful Fenty Beauty line and Savage x Fenty lingerie.

Swift is currently the second richest musician in the world, with only Jay-Z ahead of her, whose wealth stands at approximately $2.5 billion.

She is on a break before resuming the final leg of her Eras Tour on October 18, with a performance scheduled at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
