It was an event at the prestigious Eveñt Centre , Ozumba Mbadiwe , Victoria Island , Lagos.
Attended by upper echelon of the Nigerian”s who is who .
Decked in the apparel of exciting colours that engaged each other in a harmonious rhythm, the beautiful lady, humbly asked to be seated by my side.
I looked at the face of the one talking to me in the most melodious note I ever heard.
As she was talking, my Poise Class lesson forced on us at Lead City University, Ibadan, which was anchored by two exciting Lecturers, Dr Ayobami Owolabi and Anjola Elyon Robbin , jumped up in my head ‘You stand up whenever a lady is about to sit by your side in a function. Be civil. “
I obeyed this lesson and I stood up..
She, ever humble and charming noticed this act and said “Thank you “
I smiled and responded as we were taught at the Poise Class at Lead City University ‘It is my pleasure “
She made a mental note of my beads.
And maybe she could not align my appearance with my mannerism.
She planted herself on the seat in a regal manner.
Up to this time, I never knew who was sitting beside me
However, despite our infrequent interaction, I applied some of the rules of interaction which I gained from the Poise Class at Lead City University, Ibadan.
I realised that I was sitting beside a gem of a lady when Hon Bunmi Ajayi Oriniowo came over to our table to see me.
Ani Bunmi is my sister and as well, my wife’s first cousin .and she was like scrutinizing the gorgeous lady beside him,

Hon Oriniowo was gladly disappointed because she failed to catch a thief ..lol
Realizing that I was the fellow seating beside her too was exciting “So you are The Director – General, Ekiti State Council for Arts and Culture ( phonetics). No wonder”
And from that moment., I reasonably engaged her not to distract her attention from the event whenever there was an interlude, the interaction was excitingly rich.
