Famous Nigerian musician David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has shared an interesting revelation about his father’s wealth, saying it actually made him feel “broke.” The singer made this statement during a recent interview in Paris.

Davido, who attended Amiri’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week 2025 alongside fellow artist Omah Lay, was asked during the interview if there was ever someone who made him feel broke, despite his own immense wealth. The musician responded, “Yeah, my dad.”

This comment comes months after Davido mentioned in a previous interview that it took him years to fully comprehend the extent of his father’s wealth.

Despite being one of Nigeria’s wealthiest musicians, Davido explained that growing up under his father’s immense fortune made him feel like he had less, showcasing the overwhelming nature of his father’s success.
