AKINDELE: YOU NEED THE ‘DIRTY JOB’ TO SUCCEED

Popular Nigerian actress and producer Funke Akindele has revealed the key to achieving success in one’s career.

Speaking on the ‘WithChude’ podcast, Akindele emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and doing the “dirty work” to succeed.

She stressed that many people want to achieve success, but few are willing to put in the effort required. She attributed her four consecutive years of success in the Nigerian box office to her intentionality and desire for perfection.

The actress also highlighted the importance of self-awareness and originality in making headway in the entertainment industry.

Akindele shared her approach to handling grief, stating that she doesn’t allow herself to break down due to personal problems or issues. She emphasized the importance of staying focused and undistracted, even in the face of success. The actress attributed her success to her ability to remain intentional and driven, while also prioritizing her well-being.

While not ruling out the place of spirituality in her entertainment journey, Akindele emphasized the importance of self-awareness and personal growth. She encouraged aspiring artists to be willing to do the “dirty work” and put in the effort required to achieve success in their careers.
