IYABO OJO: RAPISTS ARE DEVILS

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has bravely shared her harrowing experience of being raped five times, speaking out against rape and encouraging other survivors to do the same.

In a heartfelt account, Ojo revealed that she was first raped at the age of 14 and subsequently suffered four more instances of rape, including one that occurred during an armed robbery at her home.

Ojo described the emotional turmoil she endured, feeling dirty, broken, and alone after each incident. She became adept at pretending to be strong, while secretly hurting.

The actress emphasized that she carried the pain for far too long, blaming herself and crying in silence.

Now, Ojo said is determined to use her voice to bring light to the darkness of rape.

She stresses that silence only benefits rapists, not victims, and she’s unapologetic about standing firmly against rape.

By sharing her story, Ojo hopes to inspire other survivors to find the courage to speak out.
