DAVIDO HOSTS LAVISH RECEPTION FOR BRIGHT CHIMEZIE

Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has extended a warm welcome to veteran Nigerian highlife singer Bright Chimezie in Lagos.

On Friday, Chimezie expressed gratitude to Davido for sample credit of his 2010 hit single ‘Because of English’ in ‘With You’ his collaborative work with Omah Lay while dancing to the song

Davido also appreciated the veteran for being an inspiration and expressed his desire to meet him in person.

In an Instagram post, Davido shared a video of Chimezie’s visit, showcasing the veteran singer’s arrival at his location in a luxury car. The two were seen chatting, singing along to some of Chimezie’s songs, and enjoying each other’s company at what appeared to be a restaurant.

Davido’s gesture is seen as a nod to the veteran singer’s legacy, following in the footsteps of other entertainers who have reconnected with music icons.
