OSIMHEN NEEDS KEY TRANSFER, OLISEH

Former Super Eagles captain and coach, Sunday Oliseh, has advised Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to make a move to the English Premier League if he intends to maintain his status in global football.

Speaking during an interview on Lagos Talks 91.3FM, Oliseh described Osimhen as a valuable asset to Nigerian football but noted that the Napoli forward must make key adjustments to take his game to the next level.

“I think he (Osimhen) is a huge asset to Nigerian football. But like every top asset, we all have our shortcomings. We have to be able to find solutions and work around it,” Oliseh said.

He added, “This is a player that, if he wants to continue to be in the limelight, he has to go to the Premier League. Nigerians want to see him there. He has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea for a long time.

“But for him to become that big, there are many things he has to change.”

Osimhen has long been a transfer target for top English clubs, and speculation around a potential move continues to intensify ahead of the summer transfer window.
