TINUBU LAUNCHES JAMB INITIATIVE

President Bola Tinubu, through his Renewed Hope Agenda, on Tuesday launched a free JAMB registration initiative for 50,000 students in the Southeast region.

Under the programme, 10,000 prospective JAMB candidates from each state in the region will benefit, receiving ₦8,500 each to cover registration for the 2027 JAMB examination.

The exercise was launched in Enugu by the National Coordinator of the Southeast Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), Belusochukwu Enwerem, who described it as part of Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring quality education and youth empowerment in the region.

“Today is not just a ceremony. Today is a movement—a movement of hope, empowerment, and a declaration that the future of Enugu State will not be limited by financial barriers,” Enwerem said.

He noted that education is the strongest pillar of sustainable development, describing the initiative as a strategic investment in 10,000 future doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders.
