RCCG PASTOR PASSES DEATH PROPHECY ON A LADY

A social media storm erupted on Monday after an RCCG youth pastor, Bola Abiodun, threatened to invoke a deadly curse on a lady identified as Tomisin on X for addressing him as “Mr” instead of “Dr.”

The drama began when the lady, with the handle @tomisin_ms, made a post calling him “Mr Abiodun” while accusing “his boys” of inappropriate conduct.

But the cleric, who identifies himself online as Dr Bola Abiodun, immediately fired back:

“I’m a ‘Dr’, not a ‘Mr’. Don’t refer to me as MR again. I’m not your mate.”

What followed was a heated exchange that quickly spiralled out of control, with the lady repeatedly addressing him as “mr” in lowercase — a move that appeared to further enraged the pastor.

In a series of posts, Abiodun warned:

“You know I’m old enough to be your father? Don’t disrespect me if you don’t want to see my other side.”

He then escalated the confrontation by invoking spiritual authority.

“I’m anointed man of God. I can curse you now and it’ll take effect for the rest of your lives. Bible says touch not my anointed… Try me and see.”

Despite the warnings, the lady continued to taunt him, writing at one point:

“I’m bored now, when are you going to show me how dangerous you are mr bola abiodun?”

The situation took a darker turn when the cleric issued what many online described as a “death prophecy.”

“If you don’t apologize to me in the next 5 minutes, you may not wake up tomorrow,” he wrote.

In another post, he declared:

“I, Pastor Dr Bola Abiodun, hereby pronounce a curse on u that if you don’t retract and apologize… you shall pass on to glory in your sleep at 11pm on 23rd Feb, ’26. If you wake up tomorrow morning then I’m not a man of God…”

He further added that those mocking his “anointing” could face similar consequences.

Checks later revealed that the lady has not tweeted as of yesterday morning, a development that has fueled speculation among fans and social media users, many of whom are now watching closely to see if the pastor’s prophecy will “come to pass.”

The posts have since gone viral, generating thousands of reactions, with many Nigerians expressing shock that a cleric would publicly threaten a young woman over a title dispute.

The leadership of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
