BAYERN KEEPER IS MY MODEL, NWABALI

Stanley Nwabali, Super Eagles goalkeeper, has revealed that Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neur is his role model in football.

Nwabali said he loves watching videos of the German goalkeeper every time before match days to get motivation before games.

Speaking in an interview at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast, Nwabali also said he loves playing the German on Play Station.

In the video that was recently shared by photojournalist Pooja on X, the Chippa United star said, “I love playing my PlayStation, I love watching my role model, I love watching Manuel Neuer even before my game.

“Even two days before my game, even in the dressing room, I always watch him, and even before my game, I always play my PlayStation.”

Nwabali has performed impressively for the Super Eagles at the AFCON so far.

The Chippa United goalie has kept four clean sheets and conceded only one goal.
