Various reports suggest that the President did not return to Nigeria after the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting that took place between April 28-29 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Some reports claim he is currently in Paris, France, while others stated on April 30 that Tinubu flew directly to London from Riyadh on a chartered flight.
It was reported that the presidential aircraft that carried Tinubu, a Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP (G550) with registration number 5N-FGW and serial number 5310 (Mode-S 0640F2), departed Riyadh International Airport at 12:05 am (02:05 am Saudi Arabian time) and landed at Stansted Airport, London at 06:35 am, UK time.
Although the presidency has not yet responded to inquiries about the President’s whereabouts, Dr. Reuben Abati, a co-host on the Arise Morning show that aired on Monday, May 6, expressed the view that every Nigerian should be aware of the President’s location, emphasizing the need for certainty at all times.
He said: “Nigerians have every reason to know where their president is. He left the country in April 23. we saw him when he met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, we saw him when he went to Riyad for the World Economic Forum special meeting and suddenly he just disappeared.”
“The president of Nigeria cannot disappear into a Bermuda triangle. No, we must know where he is at any particular time, however, you quoted some sources saying he is in France and what I read is that he is in London on a private visit.”
“The next thing you know, they’ll say he is somewhere. We must certainty on the location of the President.”
