ADUNNI ADE PRAISES RAMSEY FOR HER CAREER

Famous Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade, has said that  popular filmmaker, Ramsey Noah, inspired her to relocate to Nigeria.

In a recent interview, Adunni said Noah’s advice gave her the drive to take the step to move to Nigeria from the US for career.

She said she didn’t get to act alongside Noah until recently despite him being an inspiration to her.

The actress also lauded Noah’s people skills, describing him as a “phenomenal human being”.

“I know Ramsey Noah is tired of me saying this but he was the one who gave me that confirmation to move to Nigeria,” she said.

“So I met him before I came to Nigeria. I told him my goals and aspirations. He gave me a very good pep talk and I moved down.

“Since 2011, I have never gotten to work with him and this is someone I have always admired.

“During a film festival, I saw him and we exchanged pleasantries.

“The next day, I got a call from the producer of ‘Tokunbo’ and he told me Ramsey Noah cast me.

“Ramsey Noah is a different person while working. I have seen him as the Ramsey the human being, the director and the co-actor. He is just a phenomenal human being.”

Adunni Ade was born to an American mother and a Nigerian father.

She trained as an accountant at the University of Kentucky before moving to Nigeria to pursue acting full-time.

Recently, she revealed some filmmakers doubt her ability to play certain roles because of her Caucasian looks.

Adunni Ade and Ramsey Noah are cast members in a recently released Netflix film titled ‘Tokunbo’.
