AFRIFF TO HONOUR RMD, OTHERS

Organisers of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) have announced that they will be honouring Nollywood practitioners like Richard Mofe-Damijo also known as RMD, Kunle Remi, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Chidi Mokeme, Femi Adebayo and others with an outstanding performance award at the 12th edition of the event.

The movie stars shared the good news on their Instagram accounts on Saturday with an appreciation message to the organisers of the award.

RMD will be honoured for his performance as Paul Edima in the Netflix film The Black Book and Kunle Remi for his role as Saro in Anikulapo, while Femi Adebayo will be honoured for his performance in his self-produced film Jagun Jagun. Chidi Mokeme and Ini will receive awards for their performances in Shanty Town and Nse for her role in 4-4-4-4.

Actress Chioma Akpotha will also be honoured for her role in Jadesola Osiberu’s Gangs of Lagos.
