CONFERENCE SUSPENDS OSUN SPEAKER

The Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria has suspended the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Prince Adewale Egbedun, due to insubordination and abuse of office.

During a press conference held in Ibadan, the Chairman of the Association, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, condemned Egbedun’s conduct towards a respected royal figure, labeling it as inappropriate and uncultured.

Ogundoyin said: “Our Association consists of well-cultured citizens of Nigeria, and we cannot allow one individual’s actions to tarnish the image of our organization.”
The chairman concluded the press conference by announcing the suspension of Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun from the association, effective until the resolution of a petition filed with the Deputy Inspector General of Police Zone XXI by the concerned royal father.
