DAVIDO: IF I DON’T WORK AGAIN…

Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his tireless work ethic and passion for music are not motivated by financial gain.

Speaking in a recent conversation with friends, the music star, who is the son of billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, disclosed that he has access to immense wealth and could afford to never work again.

“I have billions of dollars waiting for me. Even if I don’t work again in my life, I’ll be fine,” he stated.

Despite his privileged background, Davido emphasised that his dedication to his craft is driven by genuine love for music and a strong sense of personal commitment.

“I’m grateful to myself for being hardworking. The individual strength and mental ability that goes into this type of work, especially with a lot of odds against me — then I say I have to do it. It’s not for the money… I’m working because I love my job,” he said.

Davido, known for blending talent with perseverance, has continued to top global charts and remains a leading figure in the Afrobeats movement.
