DON JAZZY, WIZKID RECONCILE

Popular Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy has reconciled with Wizkid months after their social media feud.

Their reunion was captured in a now trending video and photos on the internet.

It will be recalled that the feud between the duo happened a few months ago, after Wizkid’s controversial ‘Hip hop is dead’ remarks.

In response, Ladipoe, one of the singers under the ‘Mavin record label’ owned by Don Jazzy, fired back at Wizkid.

Ladipoe wrote, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.”

A fan called Wizkid’s attention to the Ladipoe’s shade and Wizkid replied; “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.d’.”

Wizkid further retweeted some tweets which suggested he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.

The development sparked online reactions as some users berated Wizkid for disrespecting Don Jazzy whom they refer to as a music icon.

Reacting to the controversies, Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on social media.
