FIRM TURNED DOWN DAVIDO’S DEBUT, PAULO OKOYE

Veteran talent manager, Paulo Okoye, better known as Pauloo, has recounted how he fought for music star, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, during his early career days.

Taking to his Instagram page to share a throwback video of him and the singer, he recounted how he fought for a job for the singer after a company turned him down 6 times. Still brooding over his beef with Very Dark Man, he stated that it is all hard work and respect.

Paulo noted how he isn’t born with a golden spoon as he credited his success to hard work.

“Is all about hardwork !!! Respect!!! Then Davido have on One song !!! Duro!! I fight for that job for him !! The company say no to me 6x I come back fighting before they say Yes. it is well !!! !!! I’m not born with golden spoon, is just hard work”.

Surprisingly, Davido and his brother took to his comment section to drop a comment.

Davido confirmed his statement as he wrote, “Facts”.

Davido’s elder brother, Adewale Adeleke wrote, “Yep our first endorsement, MTN was done by you sir. You forever played a major role in David’s story! God bless you”.

This is coming hours after Paulo got into a beef with Very Dark Man while defending his woman, Iyabo Ojo. VDM had claimed that Iyabo didn’t receive an invite to Davido’s main wedding but his After-party.

Paulo had defended his girlfriend, expressing pity over his condition as he believed someone swore for him and VDM hit back, advising him to stay off his issue with Iyabo, and Paulo hit back, telling Davido and others to choose between them.
