FORGIVENESS: LATIN, DAMOLA COMMEND NKECHI

Bolaji Amusan, a veteran Nollywood actor and president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN), also known as Mr Latin, has accepted peace and forgiven Nkechi Blessing.

Nkechi Blessing knelt before the TAMPAN a few hours ago to openly admit her mistakes. She begged the leaders to forgive her and lift her ban from the sector.

A video circulated on social media recording the moment Mr Latin hugged Nkechi Blessing, ending the over three-year beef and ban.

Taking to Instagram, the veteran actor commended Nkechi Blessing’s courage in making the apology public and welcomed her to the TAMPAN group.

“I commend and admire your courage.. welcome on board!!!”

Similarly, Nollywood actor and director, Damola Olatunji, has expressed pride in his colleague, Nkechi Blessing, following her public apology to Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria, TAMPAN, and its president, Bolaji Amusan, at the entertainment awards in Canada.

The internet was thrown into a frenzy when Nkechi Blessing knelt to acknowledge her errors to the TAMPAN publicly. She sought the forgiveness of the leaders and pleaded that her ban in the industry be lifted.

After this, Damola Olatunji shared the viral clip on his page, acknowledging the actress’s humility and courage.

Olatunji stated that it took courage for the actress to apologise for her wrongs, and he loves her for doing so. At the same time, he warmly welcomed Nkechi Blessing to the TAMPAN association.

He wrote on Instagram, “It takes a courageous person to apologise in the public.I LOVE YOU FOR DOING THIS. welcome back home my super talented baby gal. Nkechi Blessing.

It will be recalled that in 2021, Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo openly condemned the conduct of Baba Ijesha for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne Princess, which the association wasn’t pleased with.

They had also clashed with some TAMPAN members, such as Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Maimi, who kicked against them for openly condemning Baba Ijesha.

In punishment for their online drama, veteran actor Jide Kosoko took action against them and barred directors in the association from working with them.

Nkechi Blessing reacted by mocking the association’s decision, stating they threatened to frustrate people who could feed their entire generation until the end. She went on to call the association one of lawlessness.

It will also be recalled that Nkechi Blessing bragged online when she acquired a doctorate. She shared a video on her Instagram page capturing the moment she was awarded the degree.

The actress, miffed with those not celebrating her success, took to social media to slam them for not celebrating her. She called out bloggers who quickly reported bad news about her but could not seem fit to celebrate her.

However, she appreciated her followers and a few of her friends for celebrating her success while claiming the scripture about longevity in life.
