The Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), led by its President, Cecil Sunkwa Mills, accompanied by members of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON) also led by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose, was on Tuesday 20th June, 2023, at the Commission’s headquarters on a courtesy visit.
The visit was to familiarise themselves, with the broadcasting regulations in Nigeria, share Ghana’s broadcast regulatory experiences, as well as, foster possible collaborations and partnerships between the two organisations.
The GIBA team was received by Director, Broadcast Monitoring, Mrs. Franca Aiyetan and other members of management on behalf of the Director General, Mall. Balarabe Shehu Ilelah.
Also present was Director General, Voice of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Okechukwu amongst other members of BON.
