HARDSHIP: YORUBA STAKEHOLDERS SHOULD MEET TINUBU

A Zonal Superintendent of the Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has urged elected politicians, traditional rulers, and religious leaders from the South-West region to tell President Bola Tinubu the bitter truth about the current hardship facing Nigerians.

In a statement released today, Olu-Alo, who is the CAC Zonal Superintendent, Grace and Mercy Zone, Essien Region, Nigeria, and Overseas, called on all South-West stakeholders to speak up to avert a crisis, particularly regarding the prevailing economic challenges.

According to him, all stakeholders in Yorubaland, including Christian and Muslim bodies, should meet with the President to convey the struggles Nigerians are enduring.

“The Ooni of Ife should convene a meeting of all Obas in the South-West and lead a delegation to meet Tinubu at Aso Rock.

“Pastor Adeboye of RCCG, the Christian Association of Nigeria, and other respected men of God should also lead a delegation to meet Tinubu in Abuja concerning the biting hardship Nigerians are facing.

“South-West governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives, state assemblies, traditional rulers, and religious leaders from the South-West should tell the President the bitter truth about the plight of Nigerians,” Olu-Alo, who doubles as the Planter of CAC Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, said.

The cleric stressed the need for Nigerian leaders to rise to the challenge and offer practical solutions to the ongoing economic crisis.

He added that the current reality demands actionable and effective steps to bring relief to Nigerians, rather than the sole reliance on prayers advocated by some.

“Nigeria is the most prayerful nation in Africa, yet hardship persists. Let us prioritise love over prayer. By doing this, all will be well for our nation. No amount of prayer will change the nation for the better unless the necessary steps are taken,” the cleric concluded.
