A man in Benin has stirred conversation online after publicly claiming to be the biological father of Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid.
The emotional revelation reportedly took place during a church service, where he appealed to Nigerians for support and recognition.
According to the man, he had a relationship with Wizkid’s late mother before she married someone else. He alleges that Wizkid is his son and says he’s now seeking acknowledgment and possibly a reunion.
The man has since taken his claims to social media and church platforms to amplify his appeal.
So far, Wizkid has not issued any public response, and there is currently no verified evidence backing the man’s statement.
