IYABO OJO IS A FIGHTER, AKINDELE

She has always been a fighter and goes harder for her people. This is how fans are heaping praise on Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo following her colleague, Funke Akindele’s revelation about her.

It was reported that Iyabo Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo have helped Funke Akindele up the ladder.

In an interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa for her podcast, ‘Toke Moments’, Funke Akindele opened up on how Iyabo and Sikiratu fought for her in the Yoruba industry, during her early career days.

According to her, she was being stereotyped because of her physical appearance which many considered ‘ugly’, and was only cast for Waka pass roles.

Funke recounted how she broke down in tears in a toilet after being deceived with a lead role in a movie, whereas, it was only a Waka pass role.

Luckily for her, Sikiratu Sindodo and Iyabo Ojo stood up and fought the producers for looking down on her. Iyabo even went as far as treating her to eatery foods, anytime she was rejected on set.

Taking to the comment section on this tweet, many heaped praise on Iyabo, noting how she always stands up for others.
