JIDE KOSOKO: I’M STILL LEARNING

Renowned Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has shared a heartfelt message, reminding fans and fellow professionals that despite his decades-long career in the movie industry, he remains a student at heart.

Kosoko, who has played numerous roles and worked with the best in the industry, believes that life is a continuous learning process.

Kosoko emphasized the importance of staying humble and open to new knowledge, regardless of age or experience. He encourages others to adopt a similar mindset, learning from everyone, young or old, and not letting pride hinder personal and professional growth.

He wrote:

“Sometimes people call me a legend… a veteran… someone who has “arrived.” But let me tell you the honest truth — I am still learning.

“Yes, I’ve spent decades in the movie industry. I’ve played many roles, stood on many stages, and worked with the best. But in my heart, I still feel like a student. Because life never stops teaching.

“No matter how old we are… no matter how much we’ve achieved… there’s always something new to discover. Something new to understand. Something new to grow into.

“Please, my people, stay humble. Be open. Learn from everyone — young or old. Don’t let pride stop you from becoming better.

I’m still learning. And that’s what keeps “me going.”

Kosoko’s words of wisdom serve as a testament to his commitment to lifelong learning and self-improvement. As a respected figure in the entertainment industry, his message inspires others to remain humble and open to growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
