That was the dummy sold to fPMB and because he wanted a fair contest, he made Adamu the Chairman.
Adamu later turned against the Group that suggested him as Chairman and backed a Northerner after Wazirin Dubai and the Villa Elements had hatched a plan such that a weak Candidate could be presented to face Kojoli for easy ride to Aso Rock.
It was at that point that Lawan was brought in. He was not even an Aspirant as at the time Tinubu went to visit National Assembly Members under his Leadership during his broad consultations.
BAT was not shocked by the aspirations of anyone else but that of Lawan and you won’t forget what he said at Eagle Square that night ‘you will lick your wound’.
Adamu may not know that Lawan was presented to him for Kojoli to have an easy ride because in truth, Sidik will trash Lawan any time, any day.
Adamu later held on to Tinubu’s famous Emi Lo kan statement as an unforgivable ‘sin’ and said that BAT would pay for it. That sent those waiting to be anointed to ecstacy.
At that point, they said that Tinubu will join SDP after Buhari would have imposed his choice.
One of them said that they’d known who the true Progressives are after the exercise.
They said that any of us who would follow BAT to SDP would have proven that he’s not a real Progressive.
When a former Chairman of the Party was announced as the Chairman of the screening Committee, they said that it was the end of BAT aspiration.
They said that it was payback time for Jagaban who removed Oyegun and replaced him with Oshiomole as Chairman but Oyegun became a Student the day Tinubu faced his screening Panel and there was no valid ground to disqualify him.
And three days to the primary, fPMB travelled to Equatorial Guinea without endorsing anyone.
Rather, he said, through Adesina that He wanted an Aspirant who is the most committed Party Leader to emerge as Winner.
He said that he wanted a Man who is strong enough to defeat the opposition in the general.
INEC extended the timetable after PDP had conducted theirs and that infuriated Kojoli camp because the emergence of Wazirin Dubai meant that APC must present its best.
Personally, I celebrated the emergence of Sidik. I knew that APC must present its best through an open contract.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari did not support any Aspirant against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
