The actress described how her husband’s blatant disrespect for their marriage humiliated her. He would engage in affairs with his mistress within their shared home, making it clear that he had no intention of hiding his infidelity. Mama Ereko admitted that fear kept her silent, as she was too afraid to confront her husband about his actions. This fear stemmed from the dynamics of their relationship, where she had little power or say in what happened within her own home.
In her words, “I experienced a lot of problems when I was married to my husband. Sometimes my husband would send me on an errand because his girlfriend wanted to pay him a visit in our house. My husband brings home his girlfriend, and they would have affairs while I was at home with them. I usually get angry, but I cannot challenge my husband because I was always afraid of him.”
