MODUPE JOHNSON: THE NAME BEHIND ‘FALI WEREPE’

Modupe Johnson popularly known as Fali Werepe is a Veteran Yoruba Actress and Businesswoman born on the 30th Of June, 1960 in Ikorodu, Lagos.
She is known for her role in the popular Yoruba television series titled: “Bata Wahala” in the 80s and for producing the drama movie titled: “Oku Ana” (2019).
Fali Werepe Didn’t have the chance to acquire any Secondary or Tertiary Certificates Due to Some Personal Reasons.
In 1973, Fali Werepe was introduced into acting through the help of a close friend Mrs Adewale. She rose to fame when she appeared in a Television Drama called “Bata Wahala” in 1999.
“Fali Werepe”, is the name of her cast in the popular Yoruba television drama series: “Bata Wahala” by the late Ola Omonitan (Ajimajasan). She hails from Ikorodu in Lagos State.
In any film, she is the only one temperamentally suited to draw the battle lines with characters like Sola Sobowale, Toyin Afolalayan (Lola Idije) and Remi Oshodi (Remi Surutu).
She is happily married and the union is blessed with two children, a male and a female.
