NBC MAKES KEY CHANGES

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has announced key leadership appointments to enhance service delivery and improve overall performance.

Seven Deputy Directors have been promoted to various directorate roles, effective immediately.

Notably, some former directors have taken on new roles within the commission.

– Mrs. Gloria Makinde, formerly Coordinating Director, Broadcast Monitoring, has been appointed Secretary to the Commission.

– Mrs. Susan Obi, formerly Director, Special Duties, is now the Coordinating Director, Broadcast Monitoring.

– Dr. Chibuike Vincent Ogunmike, formerly Director, Investigation & Enforcement, heads the newly created Directorate of Occupational Safety.

– Mr. Sunday Omoge, formerly Zonal Director, Ibadan, is now the Director, General Services.

– Ms. Pauline Ehusani has been promoted to Director, Investigation & Enforcement.

Other key appointments include:

– Mr. Ralph Akpan, Director, Lagos Zone

– Mr. Henry Asagba, Director, Uyo Zone

– Mr. Ekanem Antia, Director, Public Affairs

– Barr. George Obi, Director, Abuja Zone

Acting directors have also been appointed:

– Mr. Haruna Yahaya Poloma, Acting Director, Human Resources & Administration

– Engr. Ruth Caleb, Acting Director, Engineering & Technology

– Mall. Aminu Turaki, Acting Director, Finance & Account

Mrs. Stella Erhunwunsee will continue to serve as Director, Broadcast Policy & Research.

The new directors have assumed their roles, and the NBC has expressed its confidence in their ability to enhance service delivery and drive the commission’s growth.
