This statement was made in response to a viral video from a fan of Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, which implied that the celebrated musician possesses his own private jet.
The businessman identified as LaceVine, who co-founded a private jet charter company, quoted the post stating that no Nigerian music industry musicians actually own private jets.
According to him, most artists typically utilize charter services for their air travel needs.
“Nobody owns a jet in the Nigerian music industry. It’s all charter, apart from Davido who flies his Dad’s jet,” he stated.
He further elaborated that his statement was not intended to undermine any artist but to offer clarity on the matter.
“Please there’s no intent to shade anyone with this tweet. Also renting a Jet is not fake life. It’s not cheap,” he added.
The statement has since sparked conversations online, with fans and critics alike weighing in on the lifestyle of Nigerian musicians.
