OBEY TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY WITH CRUSADE

Juju music legend Ebenezer Obey is set to celebrate his 84th birthday with a two-day crusade in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The crusade, themed “Thy Kingdom Come,” will take place on March 25 and 26, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm daily. The programme is being organised in collaboration with the Riye Council of Knights of Methodist Church Nigeria, Egba Diocese.

The event will feature several gospel ministers, including Esther Igbekele, Joseph Adelakun and Adegbemi Adewale, among others.

According to Obey, the programme will also include outreach initiatives aimed at supporting the less privileged as part of activities to commemorate his birthday.

The legendary musician explained that his 84th birthday, which falls on April 3, 2026, coincides with the period of Good Friday and Easter celebrations, which is why he chose to keep the celebration low-key this year.

He also expressed gratitude for the love and support he continues to receive from fans, friends and associates around the world, while noting that he looks forward to celebrating a bigger milestone next year.
