Popular actress Ronke Odusanya has broken her silence on her failed marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, widely known as Jago. In an interview on Wasila Coded TV hosted by fellow actress Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke revealed that a friend had allegedly misled her ex-husband by spreading damãging rumors, which later caused their separation.

According to Ronke, the said friend had told Saheed that she intended to leave the marriage to pursue prostitution and had also acçused her of an affair with a senator. “A friend of mine told my partner that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That I went to sleep in a Senator’s house with our daughter, Fife. My mouth was left open when he told me,” she shared.

She said these rumors ɗamaged her relationship with Jago, but she however was able to provide Evidence to disprove the allegations. “God gave me grace because I did a video recording of the time and date on my phone. I recorded it when we got to where we would sleep,” she said.

Ronke Odusanya also admitted that she faced financial hardships following the split from her ex. “When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. I had nothing; all my jewelry was taken away, and I fainted with that. I was wondering where to start from. I çried so much that day because I didn’t have money to get an accommodation,” she said.
