RONALDO: I’M THE MOST COMPLETE PLAYER

Cristiano Ronaldo has declared himself the “most complete player ever” in the history of football.

The Portuguese superstar spoke in a recent interview with Edu Aguirre, the journalist from ‘El Chiringuito’.

Asked if he thinks he is the best footballer ever, Ronaldo admitted that fans may prefer the likes of Lionel Messi, Pele, and Diego Maradona, but declared himself the most complete player in history.

“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history and I’m saying truth from my heart.”

Ronaldo, who plays in the Saudi Pro League (SPL) for Al-Nassr has won five Ballon d’Or awards in his career as well as several trophies including the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.

The FIFA World Cup remains the only major honour missing from his trophy cabinet. He won the Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League with Portugal, leading them on both occasions.
