TIWA SAVAGE AT KING CHARLES CORONATION

They say Tiwa Savage sings Afro beat. This classification cannot go down well with me placing her songs and beat beside that invented and performed by the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Afro beat ke? Anyway, whatever she sings notwithstanding, what she sang on Saturday at King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s Coronation Concert East Lawn at Windsor Castle was evident of her global stature. Orin ni omo yan.

Tiwa Savage, Mr. Clement Ige (Publisher, Broadcasters Int’l), KSA, Mr. Idris, CEO/Founder The Temple, some years back

I watched and watched and almost regretted my phobia for her generation of musicians whose stuff fail to connect with my soul. Well, maybe my body after few wraps of pointed yam accompanied by egusi and correct beef and ponmon. Her performance–in her angelic voice–touched my skin and made me proud again as a Nigerian of Yoruba blood.

If you still say female are subordinate being, check number of male working under this lady. No discrimination.
