Reports indicated that the EFCC’s move is related to an ongoing fraud case against Bello that involves a sum of N84 billion.
There is currently no movement in and around the house, which is located at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4.
Although the Former Governor recently met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House, it is unclear why the EFCC has raided his residence.
However, the anti-graft agency had reportedly accused Bello of diverting N80 billion of state funds in 2015, four months before he took office.
