YETUNDE WUNMI RELIVES ARREST OVER DRUG

When I was arrested on Friday, I thought it was a dream, I didn’t feel anything, but when they took me to my house on Sunday with the police officers to conduct a search that was when it dawned on me that I was in a serious predicament and I became ashamed of myself. When we arrived at my house, I realized the gravity of my situation. Upon returning to prison that night, I couldn’t sleep, I wept and repented, making a covenant with Almighty God.

I accepted that God was in control, pleaded for forgiveness, and promised that if He could rescue me from this situation, I would never go back to my old ways. I became born again in prison and a prayer warrior, seeking God’s forgiveness.

On my judgment day in court, I was shocked to see a large crowd praying for me, and God took control of the proceedings. The judge ordered me to pay fines, and I was set free.

I’m grateful for the covenant I made with God while in prison, as it saved me when some people later tried to lure me back into my old ways, and I was able to resist them, knowing God’s mercy.
