Renowned Fuji music legend, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, made a high-profile visit to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ajibola Basiru, in Abuja on Thursday.
The courtesy visit comes just before the APC National Summit, set to take place today at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock. K1 was accompanied by members of his team and received a warm welcome from Dr. Basiru.
Their meeting went beyond pleasantries—it was a blend of culture and politics, with both men engaging in meaningful conversations around national development, party unity, and the crucial role of the arts in shaping society.
A long-time supporter of progressive ideals, K1 expressed strong admiration for the APC’s leadership and pledged continued support for initiatives that promote unity and good governance in Nigeria.
In response, Dr. Basiru commended K1 for his contributions to national discourse through music. He hailed the singer as a cultural ambassador whose participation in the summit would enrich the event and foster greater engagement with the creative community.
The APC National Summit is expected to bring together top officials, party stalwarts, and stakeholders as the ruling party sets its agenda for the future.
