Nigerian hurdler, Tobi Amusan, delivered a sensational performance at the Rabat Diamond League on Sunday, blazing to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.45 seconds—a new meet record.
Amusan, the 2022 World Champion and world record holder, broke the previous record of 12.51 seconds set by American Brianna McNeal in 2018. Her dominant run also marks her season’s best (SB) performance so far.
Trailing Amusan was the Netherlands’ Nadine Visser, who finished second in 12.67s (SB), while Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska took third in 12.69s (SB).
