PRIMATE: I CALLED GEN. MUSA NINE TIMES

Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has revealed that he contacted Nigeria’s former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, earlier this year to deliver a spiritual warning about his position. According to Ayodele, he claimed he reached out around June, calling the army general nine times to arrange a meeting in Lagos, which never took place.

The cleric emphasized that his intentions were advisory, not critical. “I only speak publicly when private communication fails,” Ayodele said, noting that General Musa can confirm the calls. He explained that his goal was to offer guidance before going public.

Ayodele further stressed that his outreach was motivated by humility and a desire to help the defence chief perform his duties effectively. According to our reporter, he believes spiritual insight plays a vital role in shaping Nigeria’s leadership and national security, a conviction that guided his repeated attempts to connect with General Musa.
