DAVIDO, TEMS WIN AWARD

Three Nigerian singers, Tems, Davido and Lojay, were among the winners on night one of the 2024 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People , NAACP Image Awards, which was held virtually on Monday, March 11.

Tems won the Outstanding International Srdees’ list for being featured on Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational’ which won the Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (contemporary) award.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown and Victoria Monét were the biggest winners at the 55^th Image Awards with two awards each.

Brown won outstanding duo, group or collaboration (contemporary) for his hit ‘Sensational’ (featuring Davido & Lojay, and outstanding duo, group or collaboration (traditional) for his featured role on Ciara’s ‘How We Roll.’

Monét won outstanding album and outstanding new artist, both for ‘Jaguar II’.
