AREGBESOLA REMOVES PHOTOS OF TINUBU, AKANDE

The crisis between Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his former Boss, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, seems not to have any end in sight as the former minister has removed insignia of the All Progressives Congress from his office.

The building known as Oranmiyan House is a highrise building situated in the heart of Osogbo and served Aregbesola’s campaign office and later office of the Osun Progressives.

The white color painted high rise building which hitherto wore the colors of APC and with several poles bearing flags of the party and the National flags adorning its frontage, has been given a distinctly new look.

All insignia and identity of APC and the gigantic photos of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, ex-President Muhammadu Buhari which formerly adorned the building have been removed. They have been replaced with another equally large size images of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo also Late Chief Bola Ige and with Aregbesola’s picture inserted in the middle.

The same remodeling was observed at Aregbesola’s campaign office in his hometown of Ilesa.

Speaking, a member of the Omoluabi Progressive caucus, Kazeem Olanrewaju they are trying to return to the progressives ideas that led to the creation of APC.

Olanrewaju posited that “Tinubu and Akande have both derailed from the Progressive ideas. Progressives politics, that started with Awolowo and Bola Ige, is not about power. It’s about impacting lives.”

He condemned Tinubu’s government for having “no achievement in a year of running Nigeria. What is progressive about running Nigeria for a year without achievement.”
