Ayo Fayose said Obasanjo played a major role in removing him from office when he was governor of Ekiti State. He stated that Obasanjo also removed Governor Ladoja, Governor Alamieyeseigha, Governor Dariye from office when he was president.
He said Obasanjo removed about six governors from office Fayose said he has chosen to forgive Obasanjo, but he won’t take any steps to mend their relationship In Fayose’s words: “It was Obasanjo that removed me from office, he removed Governor Ladoja, he removed Alamieyeseigha, he removed Dariye; about six of us. And Obasanjo will come out and condemn a Tinubu. With all due respect, forget about relationship with Obasanjo. And by the grace of God I have forgiven him”
