DELE ODULE UNVEILS ‘IBUDO ASA’

Nollywood topshot, Dele Odule, has unveiled an authentic Yoruba-themed film village, Budo Asa, located in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, marking a significant contribution to cultural preservation and Nigeria’s creative industry.

The 66-year-old actor completed the project around August 2025 after years of development.

The film village features ready-made traditional sets tailored for indigenous storytelling, alongside production spaces, training workshops, and a café serving local Yoruba dishes.

A nearly three-minute video tour of the facility has drawn praise from fans, many of whom described it as a beautiful effort to preserve Yoruba heritage.

The Budo Asa Film Village joins similar initiatives by notable filmmakers such as Ibrahim Chatta and Kunle Afolayan, reflecting a growing trend of blending filmmaking infrastructure with cultural tourism in Nigeria.
