ENIOLA AJAO: WHERE ARE THE MARKETERS?

“I had to sell my two cars and my land to fund my projects. Even Odunlade Adekola lent me 8 million Naira for a movie.

“Where are the marketers today. You make a movie and spend so much money on production, but when it’s time to sell it, you are offered peanuts.

“Some distributors claim they aren’t making any profit, yet they are wealthy enough to send their children to school abroad.

“People sometimes wonder why I create so much content myself; it’s because you have to be your own biggest advocate. If you ask fans to post your movie, they might help once or twice, but they won’t keep doing it. That is why I am constantly creating content.

“I know exactly what I am doing and what it takes to succeed”
