ESTHER IGBEKELE ON WOMEN AND INDEPENDENCE

In a candid and thought-provoking statement, popular street gospel artiste, Esther Igbekele, shared her views on marriage, relationships, and the importance of women’s independence.

According to Igbekele, while she is not an advocate for separation in marriage, she acknowledges that single parenting can be a daunting task that requires divine guidance. She emphasized that men can sometimes replace their partners without hesitation, leaving women to pick up the pieces.

Igbekele also stressed that being legally married does not necessarily guarantee happiness. She cautioned women against having unnecessary entitlements, which can lead to their downfall in marriage.

“Sentiment apart, if you want a man to do everything for you just because you feel it’s his responsibility, ask yourself what if I were the man, can I meet up with all?” Igbekele posed.

The artiste advised women to stop relying on men for their happiness and instead focus on building their own lives. She reminded them that successful men are scarce, while beautiful women are plentiful.

Igbekele concluded by urging women to take charge of their lives, be financially independent, and guide their homes. “If he is still giving you little, add it with yours. Everything will set later,” she said.

Igbekele’s words of wisdom are a timely reminder for women to reevaluate their priorities and strive for independence in their relationships.
