FANS REACT TO ADEKOLA’S  ‘LAKATABU’

Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Odunlade Adekola, has put himself up for dragging over his recent attempt to engage his fans and followers on Instagram.

The actor shared pictures from his latest movie, Lakatabu, while applauding the movie crew and cast.

Odunlade’s action, however, triggered backlash from several of his fans and supporters, who flooded his comment section with warnings.

Reacting to the movie, several fans and movie lovers warned the actor against producing such movies in the future as they rated it below expectation.

Timiade wrote: “Odunlade Adekola is undeniably a talented actor, but when it comes to writing or producing movies, there seems to be a disconnect.” A user wrote.

jokey_sleek: “Do not try to produce that kind of movie again, ever again.”

Eazy5.0: “I love you so much but please don’t produce this kind of movie ever again It might makes people not rate you well again.” The concluding part seems off.

Movie lover, Seun Ojo, who rated other aspects of the movie okay; however, singled out the concluding part.

In his words, “Well, the storyline is ok, the costumes are good, just that the concluding part seems Lakatabu himself didn’t die as he was still breathing. They didn’t end it well.”
